Ribble Valley Guides broadcast Live on RVM

As part of their 100th celebrations up to 60 Ribble Valley Guides came into the studios on Sunday the 21st of February. From 2pm packs divided up into small groups with each nominating a host who was then  allocated a theme of their choice to talk about. Three guides were also given the chance to interview Mary Robinson about her role as Mayor

Prior to broadcasting across the region, UK and world, Ribble Valley’s Guides marched through the town centre from the memorial before taking part in a series of creative activities including broadcasting on Ribble Valley Media.

This was a fantastic day for us all and some potential stars of radio were uncovered amongst the 10,11 and 12 year olds. A big thank-you to them and all the pack leaders for a wonderful few hours of community radio.
